Marcello Geppetti takes this wonderful photo of Sophia Loren during the celebration of the film “Marriage Italian Style.” The film, directed by Vittorio De Sica and adapted from the famous play “Filumena Marturano” by Eduardo De Filippo, was produced by Carlo Ponti and starred the beautiful actress and Marcello Mastroianni. The artistic “marriage” between Sophia Loren and Vittorio De Sica was one of the happiest in the history of Italian cinema. This film was their sixth collaboration.
