BEATRIX KIDDO Beatrix Kiddo, also known as the Bride is a movie character, star of Quentin Tarantino's two Kill Bill films. The Bride is the anti-heroine par excellence, in the collective imagination she has become the symbol of strength and great female revenge. After suffering terrible violence, Beatrix takes revenge with the only language she has known, violence. And it is impossible not to become attached to her, not to feel a servile respect for her courage, not to legitimize her actions, to feel attracted to such a powerful and dominant female character who is struggling to regain her dignity. Its force is disruptive, incorrect, controversial, and at the same seductive, it is the representation of "an unacceptable violence in everyday life but which through the mechanism of projection on the character, the viewer is able to vent".
